The Build Back Better reconciliation bill remains in limbo, as Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) has maintained his steadfast opposition to the legislation passed by the House as currently drafted. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) still plans to hold a vote on the bill, but it is destined for failure absent Sen. Manchin’s vote.
