George helps clients achieve policy objectives and take advantage of opportunities, as well as address negative scenarios, including crisis planning and response.

George Felcyn is an experienced communications professional who advises companies, coalitions and industry groups on strategic communications, advocacy, media relations and public affairs. His work focuses primarily on the energy sector, with particular experience in renewable energy, upstream energy production, and midstream infrastructure issues.

George develops and executes communications strategies around complex policy, regulatory and reputational issues. He helps clients build and position coalitions, establish a distinct identity and voice, raise their public profile, and communicate effectively with media, policymakers and other key audiences. His work also includes crisis communications and preparedness, as well as communications surrounding major infrastructure projects, environmental and energy policy, international trade and other high-profile business issues.

George’s background spans journalism, public policy and strategic communications. Before joining Bracewell, he worked for an international public affairs firm focused on elevating business opportunities in former Soviet countries with an eye toward the energy, financial, transportation, agriculture and consumer sectors.

Previously, George spent several years working in journalism; developing independent media programming in newly democratic Albania; and designing and managing programming for an international affairs think tank.
