Dee Martin is co-head of PRG. She represents clients before the U.S. Congress and federal agencies, developing and implementing policy and media strategies that achieve her client’s goals.

Dee has 20 years of experience providing strategic advice to corporations, nonprofit organizations and trade associations. Her work covers a broad range of issues, including energy and the environment (oil and gas; power; renewables); national security (federal law enforcement); women’s rights (economic and violence issues); and financial services (credit rating agencies; consumer protection).

Dee has been named a “Washington, DC Trailblazer” and “Crisis Leadership Trailblazer” by National Law Journal (2020-2021); a “Top Lobbyist” by The Hill (2017-2021); a “Champion of PR” by PRWeek (2017); a “Top 40 Under 40 Lobbyist” by Washingtonian Magazine (2011); a “Female Powerbroker” by Law360 (2014); a “Champion” by the Legal Times (2011); and a “Women Who Mean Business Awardee” by the Washington Business Journal (2011). Dee is the creator and host of the Madam Policy Podcast, which was listed as one of the “Ten Podcasts that Elevate Women’s Voices in Politics” by The Ascend Fund. Dee has received national media attention as a co-founder of Minute Mentoring®, a women’s leadership program. An avid women’s rights advocate, Dee has focused her pro bono efforts on assisting young women escaping persecution by global terrorist organizations. For her work, she was honored with the “Unlikely Heroes Legacy Award” (2016) and was recognized by Professional Women in Advocacy as an “Excellence in Advocacy” award finalist (2016). Dee’s community service includes serving as the president of the board of directors of a transitional housing service for homeless women and on the board of directors for a national non-profit organization dedicated to social, political and economic equality for women.

Prior to joining the firm, Dee worked for a major nonprofit organization, focusing her advocacy efforts on women’s equality issues. She was honored with the Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Award in 1997. At that time, she was the youngest recipient ever to receive the award. Other recipients of this award have included Hillary Rodham Clinton and Gloria Steinem.
