He advises clients on developing and executing advocacy strategies, navigating Capitol Hill, and engaging directly with congressional offices and federal agencies to advance their policy priorities. Dane regularly leads outreach to lawmakers and staff, drafts advocacy and lobbying materials, and provides clients with real-time analysis of the executive actions, investigations, and legislative developments affecting their operations.
Dane represents clients across a broad range of issue areas, including trade, telecommunications, energy, healthcare, public health, and consumer products. He has extensive experience advancing client priorities through the appropriations process, authorizing legislation, and regulatory engagement before agencies such as USTR, Commerce, the FCC, the FDA, and the CPSC, and is frequently involved in coalition-based advocacy efforts involving multiple stakeholders.Dane Pedersen helps facilitate legislative and regulatory lobbying, research monitoring, and reporting efforts. Prior to joining the Policy Resolution Group, Dane served as Manager of Policy, Communications, and Strategic Partnerships at a boutique DC lobbying firm, where he developed and executed advocacy strategies for a diverse client base and managed the firm’s PAC operations.
