Dane Pedersen

Senior Gov. Relations & Policy Specialist

Dane Pedersen helps facilitate legislative and regulatory lobbying, research monitoring, and reporting efforts. He has a learned expertise in guiding clients’ approach to Capitol Hill on a variety of policy topics including agriculture, energy, tax, technology, and telecommunications. Dane has experience drafting advocacy and communication materials, managing PAC operations, and navigating the legislative process.

Dane joined the Policy Resolution Group after serving in several roles, but most recently as a Manager of Policy, Communications and Strategic Partnerships, for a boutique DC lobbying firm. There, he developed and implemented advocacy strategies on behalf of a diverse array of clients.

Roger Williams University, B.A. Political Science & History, magna cum laude.

Known for: Producing passionate advocacy on behalf of clients by investing time, compassion, and research into their legislative priorities.

Interesting Career Note: One of Dane’s first assignments as an intern in D.C. was escorting actress and activist Jane Fonda to Capitol Hill for advocacy meetings.

Fast Facts: While in College, Dane was named a two-time Academic All-American as a member of his university’s competitive sailing team. Dane is also a naval history enthusiast and chose to write his senior thesis on the development of Russian Nuclear Submarines.
