Once again, the past week featured little public action to resuscitate a reconciliation package as Democratic leadership continues to grapple with rising inflation, record high gas prices, the potential overturn of Roe v. Wade, and the looming midterm campaign cycle. On the tax front, there were neither markups held nor bills brought to the floor in either chamber.
