Senate Passage Finally Accomplished, What to Watch Next
Phase Three legislation is on the threshold of becoming law. We expect that the CARES Act will pass the House by an overwhelming majority on Friday, and it will be signed into law by the President soon thereafter. But, that will be just the end of the beginning. Individuals and companies will be clamoring for information about how and when they can access assistance, and federal agencies will be scrambling to develop the guidance necessary for everyone to understand how the new lending programs will operate.
