Over the past week, negotiations on the Build Back Better Act have stalled with the Senate turning its attention to voting rights legislation and an attempt to eliminate the filibuster. Ultimately, both efforts failed with Senate Republicans effectively using the filibuster to block a vote on voting rights legislation, and Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) voting with Senate Republicans to keep the filibuster.
