The Build Back Better Act remains at a standstill, with lawmakers directing their attention towards a variety of other major legislative items and international crises. At a Thursday meeting of Senate Democrats, the attendees reported that there were no discussions of a path forward for the Build Back Better package. We do not expect any major progress on the clean energy tax components of the legislation in the near future, but there is a distinct possibility that negotiations will pick back up in the coming weeks.
