PRG News - April 27, 2026

New York, NY — April 27, 2026 — Bracewell LLP today announced that David Marks has joined the firm’s Policy Resolution Group (PRG) as a Senior Communications Advisor, based in New York.

Marks brings more than 20 years of experience leading communications, public affairs, and reputation management efforts across energy, infrastructure, and other highly regulated industries. He will advise clients on executive communications, media strategy, stakeholder engagement, and external affairs.

“David’s experience as a corporate public affairs executive, energy-focused communications practitioner and U.S. Senate staffer aligns perfectly with the broad range of advocacy and strategic communications services that PRG provides its clients,” said Bracewell Partner and PRG Co-Head Scott Segal. “He understands what senior executives need from trusted advisors, and how sound communications strategy supports multiple business and policy objectives at once.”

Before joining Bracewell, Marks held senior communications and public affairs roles at publicly traded energy companies, including Equinor, Crius Energy, and Drax Group, where he led communications strategy for multi‑billion‑dollar infrastructure and energy investments. Most recently, he served as Head of Public Affairs for U.S. Renewables at Equinor, where he led executive communications and external engagement for the company’s East Coast renewables portfolio. Earlier in his career, he served on Capitol Hill as Press Secretary for the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources.

“David’s addition reflects the continued growth of our strategic communications capabilities and the strength of our team,” said Bracewell Partner and PRG Co-Head Dee Martin. “We’re excited to have him in our New York office, where he can work with clients directly on the ever-growing need to ensure that long-term business decisions incorporate appropriate communications and advocacy priorities.”

“David’s experience strengthens how we support clients across our litigation and transactional practices,” said Daniel S. Connolly, Managing Partner of Bracewell’s New York office. “David understands how communications intersects with legal strategy—from managing reputational risk in investigations and disputes to supporting complex transactions. He will be a valuable advisor to our lawyers and clients.”
